On June 9, Zhang Zhong, director of the Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Exchange Center of Jiangsu Association for Science and Technology (jiangsu Association for Science and Technology), led relevant staff to visit the National Agricultural high School district in Nanjing. During the research, Zhang Zhong and his delegation visited the Planning exhibition Hall of Agricultural High District, Zhouzi Future Food Technology Co., LTD., and Baima Future Food Research Institute successively. In the Planning exhibition Hall of Agricultural high District, they learned about the development history, planning layout, and leading industries of agricultural high District. In the following symposium, the leaders of the two sides had in-depth discussions on the cooperation of Suzhou-Taiwan agricultural Forum, training course for cadres of rural revitalization, docking of Taiwan food enterprises and other aspects.
At the symposium, Zhang Zhong gave full affirmation to Nanjing National Agricultural and high-tech Zone, he said, as the first batch of national agricultural and high-tech zone in China and the only national agricultural and high-tech zone in Yangtze River Delta, the development results in recent years are obvious to all. He hoped that the zone could give full play to its advantages, enhance the interaction and cooperation between the two sides of the Taiwan Straits, Hong Kong and Macao science and technology organizations and scientists, and gather consensus and strength. We will strengthen exchanges with enterprises from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, further enhance regional cooperation, expand cooperation areas, and foster and develop new industries, new forms of business and new drivers for win-win results. At the same time, the Provincial Association for Science and Technology plans to hold two offline training courses for rural revitalization cadres in Nanjing from June to July in 2022, to further strengthen the construction of the team of third-level rural cadres and leaders of rural revitalization.
